I’m a reporter, a brother, an uncle and a nerd. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, I attended Englewood High School and matriculated up the field to the University of Colorado-Boulder.
I started my TV career as a morning anchor and dayside reporter in El Paso, Texas at KTSM in 2005, just two days after graduation. In 2007, I traveled to the twinkling lights and disturbingly hot summers in Las Vegas at KLAS.
After covering the Nevada legislature and investigating corruption and the challenges of the recession, in late 2011, I made a move northwest to KOMO in Seattle.
I love television news. I get to learn new things everyday, push for answers from people who want to hide them and I get to work with some fascinating and passionate people.
I like kayaking around Lake Union, checking out local sports (and rooting for my Broncos and Buffs from afar), playing and collecting vintage video games and seeing what’s next around the bend.
